Harvester for Pegel Online

The PEGEL ONLINE website uses various services to publish daily updated raw values of different water-related parameters (e.g. water level) of inland and coastal gauges of the federal waterways up to a maximum of 30 days, retrospectively.

From our perspective, it is characterised by a particularly high variety of different resources whose metadata needs to be harvested:

• map layers
• tables
• downloads
• seven interactive diagrammes

Note that there are varying webservices available for your utilisation: four REST- und XML-basierte Webservices, SOAP-webservices, and four geographical information services. Hyperlinks to all these services are provided on the site's home page under "PEGELONLINE im Fokus".

Acceptance criteria:

• Scraper for PEGEL ONLINE merged into main branch and deployed to md.umwelt.info.
• One dataset for the map as a whole.
• One dataset per table entry (i. e. per "Pegelname").
• One dataset per downloadable resource, with a download link attached.
• One dataset per interactive diagramme.
