Create a Business Process Model from RE
Problem: The relevant business process for the target system has not yet been described.
Goals:
- The validated process forms the basis for determining the business context.
Background:
- A common understanding of the business context leads us to the product scope. This is important, for example, for conducting workshops with the authorities for "Fachverfahren".
- The scope forms the basis for the qualitative and functional requirements.
AC:
Sprint 1:
-
Define the tool to be used for the modelling / Preselection made for Camunda Modeler -
Model the process for the desired application procedure and follow-up communication -
Added: Discuss the model to establish a common understanding > CoP RE 2025-09-11 -
If necessary, create the process for different process levels (to identify the relevant use cases) -
Determine the relevant interfaces to internal and neighboring components based on the process-> #66 -
New: Camunda source file and exports are saved in the Nextcloud - see Business Processes Level 1
Sprint 2:
- Continue the remaining tasks in Sprint 2
Final step for Sprint 2:
- The process is modeled and described at a high level in arc42 (Chapter 3. Context and Scope under Business Context). Further process levels form the basis for the requirements documentation.
Further related steps (in future):
- Identify the relevant use cases. These will later be an important basis for deriving the functional requirements.
- Derive important quality requirements from the process, such as IT security and data protection requirements.
