Designing a bridge between the ZBP postbox and the Matrix server

Problem:

  • According to the requirements catalogue and the workshop day 3 protocol, a bidirectional migration concept must be designed.
  • Therefore, a bridge or 'adapter' must be built to enable communication between the ZBP postbox and the Matrix server.
  • However, the technical specifications of the ZBP interface still need to be clarified.

Goal:

Determine how the ZBP postbox interface will communicate with the Matrix homeserver.

ACs:

  • Read ZBP postbox documents attached.
  • Build a diagram depicting the possible communication flow with the Matrix server.
  • Write down open points, if any.
  • Document diagram and open points in this ticket.
  • Document diagram in Nextcloud.
  • Clarify with stakeholders how to proceed.
