Nextcloud als Möglichkeit einer cloudbasierten und kollaborativen Dateiablage wird von allen Nutzenden als sehr positiv und wünschenswert bewertet. Nur vereinzelt wird es als nicht intuitiv bezeichnet. Im Vergleich mit anderen Anwendungen des OpenDesk hat Nextcloud nur wenige Mängel - die Primärfunktionen konnten im Test ohne driftige Usability Issues bestehen. Eine Funktion sollte jedoch dringend angepasst werden:

Bei Klick auf eine Datei öffnet sich diese im gleichen Tab. Dies entspricht nicht der Erwartung der Testnutzer:innen. Einige empfanden dies als hinderlich bzw. sogar ärgerlich im Arbeitsablauf, da der aktuelle Tab "überschrieben" wird. Viele Nutzer:innen wünschen sich das automatisierte Öffnen einer Datei in einem neuen Tab oder die bekannte Option via Rechtsklick > Öffnen in einem neuen Tab. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt ist das Teilen von Dateien, das nicht sofort verständlich ist.

Nextcloud as a cloud-based and collaborative file storage option is rated very positively by all users as very positive and desirable. Only occasionally is it described as not intuitive. In comparison with other OpenDesk applications, Nextcloud has only a few shortcomings - the primary functions were able to pass the test without big usability issues. However, one function should be urgently adapted:

Clicking on a file opens it in the same tab, which does not meet the expectations of the test users. Some found this to be a hindrance or even annoying in the workflow, as the current tab is "overwritten". Many users would like to see a file automatically opened in a new tab or the familiar option via right-click > Open in new tab. Another point of criticism is the splitting of files, which is not immediately understandable.
