Collabora Text offers the most important features that users expect from a text editing tool. However, it has some technical shortcomings and usability issues that make daily work with it difficult and generate a high frustration rate. The focus should be on a smooth flow of primary functions such as an intuitive use of formatting, image placement; navigation, etc. MS Word was used as a reference by many of the test persons - a strong similarity to the well-known tool is preferred in order to ensure intuitive use right from the start.
