Bad performance

Die Performance von Collabora Präsentationen weist viele Probleme auf. Beispiele:

• Formatierungsmöglichkeiten sind begrenzt und erratisch

• Folien werden oft nicht in Gänze dargestellt oder die anzeige ist irgendwo abgeschnitten (siehe auch UI-Bugs)

• Häufig reagiert das System nicht sofort, selbst beim Bearbeiten von Text

  Unterirdisches Tool! Nur etwa jeder dritte Klick wird erkannt, z.B. die Textfelder anzuklicken, braucht zig Versuche, was dann ausgeführt wird, ist dagegen dann offenbar Zufall. Wenn im Schriftgrößen-Dropdownmenü 20 angeklickt wird, springt es automatisch auf 11 (kein Platzproblem).

There are many problems with the performance of Collabora presentations. Examples:

• Formatting options are limited and erratic

• Slides are often not displayed in their entirety or the display is cut off somewhere (see also UI bugs)

• Often the system does not respond immediately, even when editing text

  Underground tool! Only about every third click is recognized, e.g. clicking on the text fields takes tens of attempts, what is then executed is then apparently random. If 20 is clicked in the font size dropdown menu, it automatically jumps to 11 (no space problem).

Possible Solution/Recommendation

Working with presentations is a daily task for many people and should work smoothly and give promp feedback for the user. Otherwise it leads to much frustration.
