The profile area is not consistent with the general design in openDesk

Issue/Feedback/Need

  1. The profile area within files opens up in a window in the repository which is not consistent with other profile areas in openDesk.
  2. There is no way to navigate back to the repository from profile settings other than browser navigation. Especially new users may be confused about how to navigate back to the repository.

Possible Solution/Recommendation

  • The profile area should be designed consistent with the other applications in openDesk and open up in an overlay (see general recommendations for the header). 
  • It should always be possible to go directly to the main area (e.g. display the information in the overlay or add a back arrow).
