The name ‘Portal’ for the widget area could be probably misunderstood

Issue/Feedback/Need

The portal with important widgets can be found under the grid within communication applications which should normally only show all the other applications in openDesk. Since the naming ‘Portal’ isn’t clear, it could be seen as a possibility to navigate to the dashboard.

Possible Solution/Recommendation

  • The widget area/portal should be accessible also from the dashboard. Here more discussion is needed concerning the design of the dashboard. 
  • The portal should be renamed in “my area” or something similar.
