Comment:

• Instead of referencing concrete standards in the Annexes it would be much more stable to use wording from Art. 3 (2c) of Draft IA Ares(2024)5786790. Means following changes in the Annexes of the mentioned implementing acts:

1. protocols and interfaces defined in technical specifications that meet the requirements set out in Annex II to Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012
2. Person identification data shall be issued in formats defined in technical specifications that meet the requirements set out in Annex II to Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012
3. List of standards referred to in Article 8: relevant technical specifications that meet the requirements set out in Annex II to Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012 apply
